Sourcing & Supplier Matching
Find the right factory — verified, vetted, and ready to talk.
Overview
China has hundreds of thousands of factories making roughly the same thing, and the gap between the best supplier and the average one is enormous. The internet is built to surface whoever paid for the best listing; trade shows are built to surface whoever paid for the best booth. Real sourcing means walking the floors, knowing who's actually exporting, and being able to read a factory's body language. That's what I do.
What's included
- — Brief intake call to clarify product, target price, MOQ, and quality bar
- — Targeted shortlist of 3–8 vetted suppliers with profiles
- — Verification: business license check, export history, capacity confirmation
- — Live factory walkthrough — by video for remote, in-person for serious candidates
- — Sample coordination, including unboxing video on receipt
- — Price benchmarking across the Pearl River Delta
- — First-order coordination if you proceed
Who it's for
Importers, brand owners, e-commerce sellers, and product startups looking for a specific category in mainland China — typically light industrial, consumer goods, electronics, beauty/personal care, fashion accessories, or hardware.
How it works
Most sourcing engagements run 2–6 weeks from brief to shortlist with samples in hand. Complex categories (regulated, custom-tooled, or highly fragmented) take longer and benefit from a retainer arrangement.
Common questions
How is this different from using Alibaba directly?
Alibaba is a search engine for trading companies that paid to be visible. I work with actual factories, verify them on the ground, and tell you who I would not order from — which Alibaba structurally cannot do.
Do you take commissions from suppliers?
No. I am paid by you, not by the supplier. This keeps the recommendation honest and the price transparent.
What product categories do you cover?
Strongest in Pearl River Delta–made categories: small electronics, lighting, plastics, hardware, jewelry, packaging, and most consumer goods. For specialized categories (e.g. textiles in Yangtze Delta, or precision machinery in the Northeast), I am honest when I am not the right person and can refer you on.
